We were sad to hear that the "Safe Cosmetics" pledge has had to close its doors after 7 years.  We thank the pledge for helping grow awareness and force people to really question the safety of ingredients on their skin.  Questions are of course the fountain of innovation. 

Here at POD we were greatly influenced by the Pledge and agree that right or wrong if an ingredient raises any concerns at all in regards to its toxicity it should not be included in skincare products plain and simple. Doubt means don't particularly when there are better alternatives available. 

We hope that now the ingredients debate will move from what SHOULD NOT be included in skincare to WHAT SHOULD be included to give the skin the best possible results without damage.

POD will continue to innovate and help lead the industry in this respect with ongoing research into the natural cosmeceutical actives that are really making a difference to peoples skin.
