I am really enjoying this product so far. Would you recommend doing a 'double-cleanse' with liquid detox for a deep down cleansing? I have heard that double cleansing is especially beneficial when removing the days makeup, or before applying masks, etc.
Thanks! - Hi Teresa....I am so happy you are enjoying this product (I am not supposed to have favourites but this is definately up there!). As you can probably tell from using it this product is not only gentle but extremely effective so there is absolutely no problem with double cleansing. In fact this is how I use the product. I use it in the shower of a morning and then use it in the even to remove the makeup and grim of the day. You will find no residue of anything (including the product) of the day! Enjoy!

Aisha - You will probably get close to a week or more out of it. You need to use only the size of a pea (give or take!) as you add water to it in your hands. You should feel the benefits from the first application though. When you buy the full size product it is one pump and with ALL our products less is more.

- Hi kate - welcome to my world! Liquid Detox is extremely effective with evening out the skin tone and preventing hormonal breakouts. The main issue is that it is extremely gentle and leaves no residue on the skin that could irritate the skin further. We have seen some amazing results when people have used this product. Honestly! Myself included!

I just wanted to check that your products are pH balanced? I'm aware that the skin sits between a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 and that it's important to avoid skin products that sit outside of this.

- Great questions - as the PH balance is extremely important. Everyone's skin PH is slightly different depending upon amongst other things their diet. Within Australia an normal PH range would be in the vicinity of 5.5 to 6.5 (4.5 would be considered too alkaline). So to answer your question ALL our products are PH balanced in the normal range which is 5.5 to 6.5. Hope this helps!

No we do not use parabens at all ... the ingredients we dont use are listed on our philosophy page....and also include:
* NIL Paraben or Formaldehyde Preservatives
* NIL Sulfate Detergents
* NIL Propylene Glycol
* NIL Animal Products or Mineral Oils
* NIL Synthetic Colors
* NIL Synthetic Fragrances
* NIL Nanoparticle Ingredients
Most of our products are preserved with ingredients which have other functions in the products. The label lists the preservatives out seperately as:
Caprylyl Glycol
Phenoxyethanol <0.9%
Ethylehexylglycerin < 0.15%
1,2 - Hexanediol - < 0.15%

- Hi Hannah! Liquid Detox will defintely help with combination skin, breakouts, and pores and you will see many of our customers of a variety of ages have provided reviews to this effect. In terms of cleansing the eye area we assume that this relates to removing makeup. We do not have a product for this currently but would recommend a very gentle basic eye makeup remover only. Enjoy!

- Hi maggie - absolutely that is the way the product is designed to be used. It is very gentle and effective. I personally use it in the morning and an evening and it is the backbone of my beauty regime. We have had great results with this product acheiving an even skin tone on skin. Extremely gentle with no residue on the skin but you will immediately feel the difference! Enjoy!

Can you please tell me, is Liquid Detox safe to use around the eyes? If not what do you recommend to use for removing eye make up?
I have been using Liquid Detox for only a couple of days and am already noticing the difference but have not been game to use around the eye area until I know whether it is safe.

Michelle - Hi Michelle - happy that you are getting great results. The only issue with Liquid Detox is the essential oils so it would be best not to use it on your eyes to remove makeup. Hope that is your questions - if not hop back on and ask. Enjoy!

Thanks for the question - its a good one! And quite simply the reason we don't try and sell you toners, exfoliants or a masque is because if you are using POD Liquid Detox you simply won't need them! Why? Because toners are only really needed if your cleanser leaves a soapy film or residue on your face which Liquid Detox does not do. Secondly we use an enzyme technology to breakdown make-up, dirt, impurities, dead skin cells and toxins gently and naturally without the need for a seperate exfoliant or purifying mask. thanks - Hi Janine - you should definately be using a moisturizer still. Our key moisturizer is our Liquid Facelift and this is suitable for all skin types. These two products if you like are the basics. There is nothing to stop you from using Liquid Facelift morning and night except that it does not have an SPF in it. Our other moisturizers are 'issue' specific so Liquid Light (aimed at pigmentation) and Liquid Canvas (at makeup application) and you would generally use these of a morning. Enjoy!

Thank you - Our range does not contain any animal products and have not been tested on animals. We publicly state this on our philosophy page and do not under any circumstances. Our ingredients are primarily plant derived and we are vegan friendly too.

I have now been using the Detox and Facelift for 2 weeks and difference to my skin is amazing. I’m 61 and the wrinkles are definitely not as pronounced. I have been so pleased with the products that I have been telling friends and family. Four of them are now using it or have it on order because they could see and feel the change in my skin. My first impression of the pod liquid detox was the packaging was really cute and the bottle was large, unlike some items you buy were the bottle inside is way small compared to the box but this wasn't the case. The first time I tried it I thought it had a very natural and fresh smell to it and once I applied it and washed it off I thought it made my face felt very smooth and refreshed. Overall after a week of using POD liquid detox I felt like my skin was smoother and I was very happy with the product. Due to me having sensitive skin I am only limited in what face products I can use and this worked very well with my very sensitive skin, i had no skin reaction what so ever, so i would definitely recommend it to people with highly sensitive skin.

After much internet research into products that would work on my desperately late thirties skin I came across the Pod range. About two weeks ago I decided to make my first Pod purchase and happily took home a bottle of liquid detox. barely four days later I looked in the mirror and was amazed with the results! I have had lots of product promises in the past but this is the first time that I have ever seen such obvious and fantastic improvements to the condition and appearance of my skin. This is the best skin product I've ever used. OMG - I am not joking.
I'm 52 and have struggled with hormonal acne and excessive oiliness since I was 12. Over the past 4 decades I've spent thousands of $$ and tried everything from Dermatologists products/antibiotics/high end products like Lancome/Clinique/Arbonne/Dermalogica etc to supermarket products like Garnier/Neutrogena. The only products that helped were products with salacylic acid which reduced the acne breakouts but never the oiliness.
I read about your product in a Sunday paper liftout 'Body and Soul' and thought I'd give it a try. I've been using the Liquid Detox for 3 weeks and the difference to my skin is amazing. The existing acne/hormonal bumps are nearly gone and I dont have a hint of oiliness by 10.00am as I usually did. The pore refinement is fab and my skin is soft and getting clearer by the day. Also no sign of new acne/hormonal bumps - I cant believe it!
And the best thing is I only need the one product - no longer lining my shower & bathroom shelves with scrub/toner/oil free moisturiser - it's like POD Liquid Detox has rebalanced my skin - all in one product. (Posted on 9/05/11)

I have used many natural skin care products now and have finally settled on Pod. I saw an advertisment and decided to order the samples first which is a wonderful idea - there is nothing worse than spending a fortune on skin care only to find it does not suit your skin type. However the Pod products are so gentle I am sure no one would be disappointed with the results. I have now used several of the products and have found them all to be excellent. Just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE Liquid Detox. i have really sensitive skin so have never been able to use foaming cleansers let alone exfoliants. But with Liquid Detox I don't have to scrub or damage my skin to get the glow. I let my mother in law try it at the weekend and she loved it so much she actually made me give her my bottle! This cleanser works so well and does way more than it even promises! It leaves my skin with a beautiful natural glow, looking smoother, younger and even has cleared up my acne and blackheads. It's wonderful value for money because I don't need to buy a separate exfoliator or get facials anymore. I just wanted to let you know how great your products are. I love them!! Having worked in Pharmacy for 40 years I found Pod one of the most exciting new products to come on the market. Being a cancer survivor as well I needed natural products that were gentle on the skin with no nasties. My favourites are Liquid Detox leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh with no tightness Liquid Tan What can I say ,it is the best artificial tan I have ever used! I would have a natural tan with no streaks. Customers would ask where had I been with that great tan. I told them it came from a tube and they did not believe it. I’m a new user of POD & must say that I was pleasantly surprised by your product. It’s the first natural product that doesn’t leave an oily film on my skin & I was shocked when I tried the Liquid Detox as I’ve never, ever, been able to use a foaming cleanser; whenever I used one my skin would be tight & felt that I needed buckets of moisturiser to fix it. After using Liquid Detox my skin wasn’t tight but was it clean....no residue make up at all & my face felt really nice after applying the Liquid Facelift. What a great idea having one cream for both day & night, not only is my skin looking & feeling better but my purse if healthy as I’m not buying double the amount of products. Just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the products. I find other products don’t work nearly as good as Pod. When I found Pod and had a look at the website, I thought great I can get something natural for a great price and I’m helping the environment. I’ve been using the Liquid Detox and the Liquid Facelift... so great! My pores have reduced in size around my nose area and I don’t get blackheads!!! My skin feels smooth and the skin tone has even improved. Thanks for introducing this great product into the market.
